Hello friend! My name is Carlos, also known as "Riderwalker," and I am the person behind the infrastructure of RIDERWALKER BIKE COMPONENTS
I live in Alicante (Spain) and besides being a rider for as long as I can remember, I am a computer programmer specialized in e-commerce. So, as you can imagine, this online store, the RIDERWALKER® brand, and all its products are designed, patented, and manufactured by me.
I am an enthusiast of mountain biking and technology, so here I can apply my experience and do everything I love in the same place.
WHY DO I DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE BIKE COMPONENTS?
Once I read this quote from the founder of PORSCHE: "I went out to look for the car of my dreams, and when I couldn’t find it, I decided to build it."
I didn’t go out to look for the components I needed; I spent days searching for them on the internet, and since they didn’t exist, I decided to design and manufacture them for all riders and bikers in the world.
I KNOW WHAT RIDERS NEED
I started in the world of biking at thirteen.
At first, I practiced freeride in the "New world disorder" style, then I competed in downhill races, and in recent years, what I like most is practicing enduro with my ebike.
Thanks to all my experience, I understand and know what the real needs are, and luckily, I am willing to design and manufacture them!
A LIFETIME WITH COMPUTER AND BIKE
Since I was very young, I felt attracted to computing and technology. I was lucky to have a computer when I was six years old, and from that moment, a computer has always accompanied me wherever I went.
At thirteen, I made my first website; few people knew it, and very few will remember it; it was called "alicantefreeride"... that’s not important, but I find it romantic to be doing exactly the same thing twenty-two years later while writing this for you.
I LOVE NIGHT MTB
Have you ever done mountain biking at night? It's something I’m passionate about.
The same trails always seem different. The sounds, the peace, and the smell of the mountain are special.
You also need very powerful lights if you like to make night videos like I do
I have collaborated with the best lighting brands in the world in testing their flagship products. Magicshine, Lupine, Gloworm, Moonlight, Gemini Lights, Olight, Knog, and Sigma are some of them.
