Description

MASTERMOUNT400 is the adapter mount for the BOSCH KIOX 400C that allows you to install the display on e-bike frames that do not have an opening large enough to accommodate it.

It is compatible with any bike model and brand equipped with a BOSCH motor and the “BOSCH System Controller” unit installed on the top tube.

It is very easy to install. It attaches to your bike’s frame in the same place where the power button (System Controller) is located, allowing the frame to be adapted to install the BOSCH KIOX 400C display.

The pack includes everything you need to install the Bosch KIOX 400C display on the frame: the MASTERMOUNT400 mount, the lower fixing screw and the upper fixing spring.

HOW DO I INSTALL IT ON MY BIKE?

STEP 1: Remove the System Controller

Using a Torx T10 key, unscrew the bolt that holds the System Controller.

Once loosened, remove it carefully and disconnect the cable by gently pulling it out.

STEP 2: Position the cable

Insert the cable into the MASTERMOUNT400 through the central opening.

Then, pull it out through the front-right opening and insert it again through the front-left opening.

STEP 3: Prepare the Bosch Kiox 400C

Use a Torx T3 key and remove the front metal lever from the display.

Keep it, as it will not be needed for this installation.

STEP 4: Connect the display

Connect the cable to the display aligning the white line that indicates the correct position. Press until you hear a click.

Leave as little visible cable as possible, ideally less than 2 cm between the display and the mount.

STEP 5: Assemble everything

Insert the display into the mount while adjusting the excess cable. Before finishing, fit the cable into the guide on the mount.

When everything is assembled, place the unit on the frame and tighten it with a 3 mm Allen key, applying a maximum torque of 0.5 Nm (light tightening).

STEP 6: Pair with the Bosch Flow App

Press and hold the power button until the eBike enters Bluetooth pairing mode and in the Bosch Flow app, select “Add new bike” to pair it.

To pair the Mini Remote, remove the battery for 30 seconds. After reinserting it, hold the “–” button until the light turns blue.

In the Flow app: Gear icon (top right) → Components → Add device and select the Mini Remote.
